Lifecycle Marketing Manager

We are hiring a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to help create and evolve more personalized experiences for our customers at each step in their 1stDibs journey with the goals of activating more buyers, increasing lifetime value and growing user engagement. You’ll partner with a variety of teams across the organization to develop engaging lifecycle campaigns across multiple channels including, but not limited to, our website, app, email, push, sms, direct mail and display ads. 


Your Impact:

  • Work cross-functionally with email, integrated marketing, creative, product and engineering teams to develop and execute lifecycle campaigns and promotions that drive customer activation, retention and LTV. Examples: using performance data to suggest and test optimizations to our current promotional offers and evolving our retention marketing programs with the paid media team. 
  • Support and collaborate with lifecycle marketing Director and team to develop campaign strategies and personally lead execution of promotional and marketing campaigns that deliver against established business goals. For example, if we were exploring creating a targeted promotional offer with strict ROI targets for new registrants. You would identify audience segments, suggest offers and assist in creating financial models to gain buy-in from relevant stakeholders. Once approved, you would brief the creative team on required assets and strategy, ensure execution in each channel, measure and finally communicate results and next steps to leadership. 
  • Evolve domestic and international marketing channel opt-in initiatives and app download campaigns by conducting performance analyses and implementing A/B tests, effective messaging and personalization optimizations.
  • Collaborate with Senior Associate and cross-functional partners to evolve our onboarding and early engagement strategies and implement/optimize specific engagement initiatives across our website and marketing channels.
  • Leverage internal and external customer data and marketing automation tools to develop effective audience segmentation and content personalization.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers

Your Experience:

  • 4-6 years lifecycle/customer marketing or growth marketing experience (2+ years email marketing experience strongly preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple detail-oriented projects simultaneously 
  • Experience with A/B testing, campaign analysis and content optimization
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets


  • Familiarity with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and with business intelligence reporting tools (Looker, Cognos, Tableau, etc.) a huge plus
  • Experience working with SimonData, Salesforce or other CDP and/or CRM tools preferred
  • A desire to learn & make a difference at a growing company that is quickly expanding into new markets.
