We are looking for a Concierge to help drive our fast-growing New & Custom category. You will provide high-touch assistance to our furniture sellers, in conjunction with the Strategic Partner Management and Business Development teams, by handling important day-to-day tasks that increase their sales on the 1stdibs platform, such as daily and weekly management of their accounts and items. We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated, and resourceful individual who will be an advocate for seller success on 1stdibs. This person must love working with people to build and maintain accounts and must be able to remain professional and helpful under pressure.  

What you'll do

  • Drive seller satisfaction by delivering excellent service on all dealer interactions
  • Create seller visibility by aggregating inventory materials (images, object details, content) from sellers and uploading items on their behalf
  • Increase seller exposure by assisting with curation of furniture listings
  • Track and monitor seller posting, messaging and sales activity
  • Maintain regular correspondence with sellers and galleries to help them engage with 1stdibs by responding to orders and inquiries in a timely manner and training sellers on inventory best practices
  • Assist with research or other tasks to support the overall New & Custom strategy

What you'll bring

  • 0-2 years’ experience
  • Impeccable organizational skills and timeliness
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and comfort in communicating via email and phone
  • Ability to work well in a self-directed, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent writing, speaking, presentation and computer skills
  • Willingness to pitch in to help the team with unforeseen needs and be solution-oriented
  • Experience or strong interest in e-commerce
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising, art history, material culture and/or furniture design a plus
  • Knowledge of and experience with dealers and luxury products a plus
  • Knowledge of SEO a plus
  • Salesforce.com proficiency a plus
