Sales Assistant

We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant who can support the Dealer Sales, Advertising Sales, and Account Management teams in the New York City office.  This individual will focus on organizing and tracking leads, reporting on sales and pipeline data, and streamlining the sales process for the sales executives. This person will be working cross-functionally within the company, as well as with external stakeholders; adaptability to a fast-paced startup environment is crucial.

This role requires a business-minded individual who is highly organized, detail oriented, and adept at communicating with individuals in the luxury market.  Additionally the role will require working closely with our Sales Director, Sales Executives and internal team of category specialists and curators.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain monthly sales reports for dealer sales and ad sales
  • Work with vetting to obtain all viable north American leads, and take lead on vetting and approvals for outbound sales projects
  • Cross-check art and design fair lists with dealers on the site, mass upload leads to Salesforce
  • Activate dealer storefronts on a weekly basis and charge the first month’s prorated subscription fee
  • Monitor and update all promotional rate increases on a monthly basis
  • Upload new contracts to Echosign on a monthly basis
  • Complete sales-related ad hoc projects
  • Contemporary category support including, but not limited to: supporting the vetting specialist, prospecting leads, compiling data, supporting manufacturers needs
  • Assign potential advertising leads to the ad sales pipeline, and support the ad sales department
  • Successfully transition new advertising contracts to the sales manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree plus 0-2 years experience in either a sales support, operations, client-facing, or customer service role preferred
  • Exceptional communication (written and oral), presentation, listening and organization skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Team player with a roll-up-your-sleeves and help attitude
  • Experience working with luxury goods a plus
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
