Senior Manager, Sales Automation

The Senior Manager of Sales Operations is a great opportunity for you to leverage your leadership and operational skills to accelerate sales performance. You’ll be responsible for leading 1stDibs’ sales automation program to generate demand, identify leads, and optimize conversion.  The ideal candidate would be analytical and solution oriented, with a strong ability to work collaboratively across teams.  


  • Program Vision - work with cross functional leaders and external vendors to build, launch and implement sales automation tools and campaigns.  Serve as an advocate internally for the sales automation program, identify opportunities to drive efficiencies using sales automation and partner with business owners on use cases.
  • Optimization - understand feedback from users and metrics to improve performance of our sales funnel and efficiency of our sales tools.  Identify areas of opportunity and put plans in place to maximize the impact of our tools and teams.  
  • Measurement - ensure automation is contributing to overall productivity of the users teams.  Establish consistent metrics across the team that identify key trends in the business which can be acted upon.
  • Project Generation - Identify potential projects that will address impediments or allow the team to capitalize on unrealized opportunities. 
  • Sales Tool & Vendor Management - Work with Salesforce team and other sales tool vendors to optimize the use of tools and integrate tools into daily processes. Own all vendor relationships.
  • Collaboration - Partner with cross functional teams (such as sales, marketing, and product) to support project roadmaps and go to market strategies of key initiatives. 



  • Salesforce and/or sales automation experience a must-have
  • Strong analytical skills to dissect problems and come up with decisive action plans
  • Ability to think strategically and make sound judgment to plan to achieve goals 
  • Persuasive with demonstrated history of success
  • Experience working with or within a Sales Organization
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years experience in sales tooling and related
