Social Media Manager

We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can create and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that energizes and grows this community. This is a unique opportunity to be the voice of a breakthrough company that is disrupting the luxury market.

 In this role, you will collaborate with our editorial, creative, merchandising and marketing teams to develop compelling, brand-right content that engages our community. You will also seek to evolve our brand presence by launching new Instagram handles dedicated to art and jewelry, establishing new partnerships, participating in broader social conversations and exploring new ways to drive sales from social media.

 To succeed, you’ll need social media awareness, creativity and a clear point of view. You will have experience driving organic gains, capturing and maintaining an audience and measuring success. This is an extremely exciting time for the company, and you’ll play a big part in our growth.

 

What you’ll do

  • Define the 1stdibs brand voice on key social channels, with a focus on Instagram and Pinterest
  • Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities on Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram
  • Create and continuously evolve a social media strategy that increases followership and drives participation
  • Grow ecommerce revenue from core social channels
  • Create and develop new Instagram handles, including for jewelry and art
  • Cultivate partnerships with influencers
  • Measure, analyze and report on goals and channel performance
  • Collaborate with editorial teams to create content that will drive on-platform engagement
  • Partner with design and photo editors and the merchandising team to develop and promote beautiful product collections
  • Attend and create content from industry events

 

What you’ll bring

  • 3-4 years of social media marketing experience
  • A proven ability to engage, connect with and build an audience across multiple channels
  • Expertise in social media marketing with proven success
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • The ability to work independently, leading and managing multiple projects
  • A talent for creating high-quality content across multiple social platforms for a luxury marketplace
  • A very strong understanding of branded content in digital and social platforms
  • The ability to manage a high-speed, high-volume workload in a start-up environment
  • A positive attitude and a passion for social media, tech and being part of a growing brand
  • A love of and appreciation for luxury goods and a desire to be immersed in the world of Interior Design, Antiques, Fine Art, Jewelry and Vintage Fashion
