Sr. Manager, Display & Paid Social
This can be a fully remote role if you live outside of NY, CT or NJ. Candidates should be willing to work east coast hours.
As the largest luxury online marketplace, we are changing the way consumers shop for luxury items online. We are looking for a Senior Manager, Display & Paid Social to join our marketing team to help drive the evolution of our digital marketing capabilities and efficiently scale existing channel performance. This is a position to support our growing Paid Media team and reports directly to the Head of Paid Media. In this role, you will be involved in supporting the digital strategy, campaign creation, optimization, and reporting for all digital paid marketing channels. As we expand our reach, a deep understanding of Paid Social and Display channels would be an advantage.
What You’ll Do
Help develop the strategy and lead the execution for a variety of existing and new paid marketing channels (Paid Social, Programmatic Display, Retargeting, Affiliate Marketing, Paid Search, Shopping, etc)
Implement and manage a strategic media plan aimed at driving scale while maintaining performance targets
Develop actionable customer-focused channel strategies to increase new customer acquisition and improve the purchase frequency of existing customers
Partner with integrated marketing managers focused on specific audiences (ex: interior designers) or categories (ex: fine jewelry) to develop and execute strategic plans that meet aggressive growth targets for the company’s top priorities.
Increase performance of feed-based channels by optimizing product feed titles, descriptions, and other attributes
Suggest optimizations and testing ideas by analyzing past performance data
Evaluate the marketing technology stack and provide guidance to leadership on in-house vs. out-of-house tech and team structures
Partner with Marketing and Creative teams to drive creative innovation, and improve our product storytelling through digital channels
Evolve reporting framework to more effectively capture program performance and produce actionable run-of-business channel optimizations
Utilize customer analysis, including lifetime value and cost to acquire metrics, to optimize marketing programs and improve audience development of media programs
Provide analytical support for forecasting of daily/weekly/monthly sales trends and guidance on risk to plan
Clearly and concisely communicate program performance and progress against goals in a cross-functional setting
Nurture and mentor junior team members to maximize their potential and fuel their evolution as digital marketers
What you’ll bring
- Have 5+ years of digital marketing experience across display, paid social, digital advertising, and affiliate marketing
- Have experience supporting multi-functional in-house teams and vendors/agencies
- Are strongly familiar with marketplace business models and P&Ls to drive ROI positive solutions
- Have a working knowledge of standard industry reporting and diagnostic tools
- Are an excellent oral and communicator; Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization from external vendors to senior leadership
- Are able to transform detailed analysis into straightforward summaries for cross-functional partners
- Experience in paid social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest would be beneficial
- Demonstrated strong digital and e-commerce knowledge and curiosity
- Committed cross-functional partner and a great team player
- Sense of humor a plus
