Staff Accountant

We are seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant to join our Accounting Department. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and organized and has the proven ability to adapt well in a small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial and diverse team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will have significant responsibility for managing several key business processes, including key month-end close activities.  

 

What you’ll do

  • Perform bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
  • Enter invoices and process bills as received for multiple entities
  • Prepare journal entries for multiple entities
  • Manage and enter employee’s T&E and prepare them for reimbursements according to company policy
  • Manage Accounts Receivable for Subscription revenue and non-order related fees
  • Review and analyze Accounts Payable aging report on a monthly basis
  • Maintain records for multiple balance sheet accounts including employee advances and sales tax payable, and perform reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Meet monthly reporting deadlines and provide assistance with month-end close
  • Assist to develop improved processes and policies and to drive financial discipline across the company
  • Assist with other ad hoc projects assigned by management

 

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 0-2 years accounting experience
  • US GAAP experience
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Experience using Bill.com and NetSuite or similar ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated, personable, organized, and a team player
