Little Match Girl
In the bitter cold wanders the little match girl, hoping someone will buy some matches from her. She sees others warm and happy inside with roast goose, creamed potatoes, and mounds of cakes and fruits and dreams of her kind and loving grandmother. Just one match to keep me warm for a few seconds, she thought. Just one match so that I can once again embrace grandma, she dreamt. Just one match so that my feet are thawed for a few seconds.
