Trade 1st Resale Beta Program Terms & Conditions

We know that the design professionals who participate in the 1stDibs Trade 1st program work tirelessly to ensure that the extraordinary designs found on 1stDibs make it into the projects of your esteemed clients. However, we understand that from time to time, items purchased on 1stDibs are not placed as originally intended. 1stDibs is pleased to offer our US Platinum Trade 1st members the opportunity to relist items purchased on 1stDibs on our marketplace as a benefit of your membership.

Trade 1st Resale Beta Program 

For eligible 1stDibs purchases, US Platinum Trade 1st members may relist purchased items on 1stDibs for resale (a “Trade 1st Resale”). You may set the terms of sale for eligible items, including return policies, list price and final sale price of such items, and you may utilize the exceptional support of 1stDibs and its network of carriers to facilitate delivery of eligible items to their new buyers. 

Participation in the Trade 1st Resale Beta Program is subject to your agreement to the seller terms and conditions in effect at the time of resale. A commission to 1stDibs will be applied to each sale, with the commission rate determined based on the item to be resold. You will not be required to pay a subscription to list your eligible items.

Eligibility

Purchases by US Platinum Trade 1st members on 1stDibs on or after November 18, 2023 may be eligible for the Trade 1st Resale Program. 

You may request a Trade 1st Resale on any item purchased on 1stDibs within 12 months of such purchase or until the completion of the Beta. 

You must be a US Platinum Trade 1st member in good standing at the time of your resale request.

1stDibs shall have the right to review item condition and quality prior to permitting such items to be eligible for the Trade 1st Resale Beta Program. 

Participation in the Trade 1st Resale Beta Program is subject to your agreement to the seller terms and conditions, including inventory listing standards, in effect at the time of relisting and resale.
