À PROPOS DE L'IMAGE : Pour faire suite à l'immense succès de BATMAN : the Animated Series, l'équipe créative de Bruce Timm, Paul Dini et Alan Burnett a transformé le super-héros le plus puissant de tous les temps en un autre citoyen de leur propre C.D. art-déco. L'univers de la bande dessinée. Présenté à la télévision en septembre 1996, SUPERMAN existe dans un monde du futur, une Metropolis de science-fiction étincelante et rutilante. Mais sous la surface brillante de cette apparente utopie se cache sa sinistre figure de proue, Lex Luthor, dont la domination est menacée par l'apparition soudaine du Kryptonien Superman, moralement juste et apparemment invincible. Cette pièce est accompagnée d'un certificat d'authenticité.
