Impressions et multiples Stow Wengenroth
Américain, 1906-1978
Né à Brooklyn en 1906, Stow Wengenroth a étudié à l'Art Students League of New York et à la Grand Central School of Art. Il a vécu et travaillé pendant de nombreuses années à Long Island, puis s'est installé à Rockport, dans le Massachusetts. Wengenroth est réputé pour ses scènes soigneusement travaillées du littoral de la Nouvelle-Angleterre : rochers escarpés, phares, bateaux et mer. Il est décédé en 1978 à Rockport.
