Andrew Kornat Design/One a été créé en 2011 après qu'Andrew ait déjà travaillé dans l'industrie des fournitures d'intérieur pendant plus de 26 ans, se spécialisant dans la conception et la fabrication d'éclairages. Andrew a commencé sa société en distribuant et en lançant quelques grandes marques bien connues de luminaires exclusivement au Royaume-Uni, à savoir Maison Charles, Bigli, Ciani Emporio San Firenze et Jonathan Browning Studio, qu'il a toutes établies sur le marché britannique pendant 5 à 8 ans.
