It is a classic retro Omega with tonneau case, original Omega integrated bracelet, distinctive dial, and automatic movement. Here are some of its features: * Pioneering so-called "double quick-set" day and date features - Omega created the caliber 1022 movement with a double quick-set capability for convenient setting of the day and date. Though many connoisseurs associate the idea of the double quick-set watch with Rolex, which first offered the President model with this "new" feature in late 1990, Omega was a pioneer of the technology in large scale production watches. * Faster beat (28,800 bph) balance system for greater accuracy (and this watch is the higher 23 jeweled version) * Full size 35mm case - in between the sizes of a Rolex Date and a Rolex Datejust. It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. Its case presents in gorgeous mint with strong lines. La légende de Omega veut que la Speedmaster Professional Chronograph de la marque ait été la première montre à effectuer un alunissage. Mais l'amour universel pour montres Omega vintage ne se limite pas aux astronomes, et l'héritage de l'entreprise ne se limite pas à l'histoire de la Moonwatch.

Les origines de la maison remontent à 1848, date à laquelle l'horloger suisse Louis Brandt s'est installé pour la première fois. Ses fils Louis-Paul et César ont pris la relève après sa mort et, en 1894, ils ont créé un nouveau mouvement fascinant.
