These are the first watches in the world to be equipped with bracelets truly integrated with the case. This system, invented by Pierre Moinat Omega's head of creation, was patented in 1965. Featuring an officially certified automatic chronometer movement with quick-set date and a robust stainless steel case with screwed in back for extra water-resistance, this late 60's - early 70's era Omega demonstrates why the Constellation was the company's flagship line. Powered by the company's caliber 1001 chronometer engine, it united performance with presentation. It has all of its original parts down to the hands, crown, bracelet, and even original Omega crystal! It has just finished a true expertly done restoration - it presents in gorgeous condition, a 9.5 out of 10. The case presents as mint with light wear on the underside. It has crisp high polished facets and presents as perfect mint on the wrist. The bracelet presents as just short of perfect mint - on the wrist it presents as mint. The Omega dial has been meticulously custom refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye. As part of the restoration, a Master Watchmaker has freshly overhauled the movement which winds smoothly. It is running very strong and true, keeping time essentially on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position. For the finishing touch, it has been carefully detailed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
