Gran costellazione is a new concept in interior design, allowing interior designer to create an infinitive number of designs. If you have a special project for even larger fixture, the technical construction allows to override the wattage limit and to go for any possible shape or form. Photographed with onyx diffusers, the best-selling on the sistema solare collection, Calacatta Marble is also available and opaline glass.
Other customizations are on the brass that can be plated in nickel or gunmetal, or any finish that usually brass allows. Brass can also carry natural patina, Brushed bronze and Oiled bronze finish. Metal finishes can also be combined to create a beautiful design with different metal finishes.

Gran Costellazione belongs to a modular series that brings together luminous elements of varying diameters and heights, resulting in a sculptural graphic composition and a refined light diffusion. It blends a mid-century aesthetic with a contemporary sensibility and premium materials.
This chandelier was conceived to meet the need for a flush-mount lighting solution capable of illuminating large areas. It is not only suited for spaces with lower ceilings but also ideal where clear sightlines are desired—such as preserving views of windows, landscapes, or artwork.
Named after the Orion constellation, this specific version measures 124x84.5 cm (49x34 inches) and features a layout of 5 large and 8 smaller light modules, arranged in an asymmetric, fractal-inspired configuration.
Perfect for placement above a dining table or within elongated spaces, the fixture reveals its layered structure upon approach. From a side angle, the staggered positioning of the light elements becomes evident; as you move closer, the onyx veining and complex design come to light.
While traditional marble and alabaster chandeliers are often admired for their sculptural presence but often providing dim lighting, our designs overcome this limitation. Our Onyx and Marble models are engineered for effective illumination. The Gran Costellazione uses advanced LED technology delivering 180 lumens per watt.
The Orion version emits a native 18,000 lumens through 112W of proprietary LED components. The onyx diffuser and the fixture’s structure moderate this to approximately two-thirds, still providing substantial brightness. To accommodate different lighting needs, it is fully dimmable with standard residential TRIAC (phase-cut) dimmers.

The model shown features onyx diffusers, the most popular option from our Sistema Solare collection. Calacatta marble and opaline glass are also available as alternatives. Custom metal finishes are offered as well, including nickel plating, gunmetal, or any brass-compatible treatment. Options like natural patina, brushed bronze, or oiled bronze are available—and combinations of finishes can be used to create distinctive designs.
