Imported from Lake Como, Italy this amazing pair of coffee tables featuring the characteristic and magnificent blue colour of Fontana Arte attached to each one of them four steel screw feet.
The blue smoked glass and mirrored glass top have a characteristic smooth curved edge all around(they don't do this cut anymore, modern glass tops are cut straight edged). The feet have a minimal design which is a later addition and at the top the caps unscrew and the glass top is inserted. One table has satin finish bullet shaped legs and the other tube shaped polished chrome making them near twins but also uniquely amazing! Minimalism block colouring at its best, perfect coffee table dimensions for a large room especially if they are placed next to each other with the rectangular glass top curved corners making more friendly and easy to the eye.
Founded in Milan in 1932, this piece was made in Italy in the middle of 20th century as a small shelving unit with the mirror shelf below and the blue glass on top, eventually at some point in the 1980s the owners changed the use of it and turned them into two coffee tables for their living grand room in Lake Como. These tables as is still stand strong and they would look amazing in most interiors, modern or vintage looking especially when the light reflects on them! Either in front of a three seater sofa, curved or modular one it would look amazing!

Usure conforme à l'âge et à l'utilisation. Good vintage condition, the glass tops don't have any chips but they some wear marks or discolouration. Light wear on the feet.
