A quick stop for Lauren and David and their family, they moved in, redesigned, renovated and sold this once dated McLean, Virginia cape cod revival in just under a year in mid 2015-2016. Lauren loved the challenge of taking a “plain jane” builder grade house and turning it into the light and bright home it is today, with the addition of simple, Colonial architectural details, woodwork and white painted floors. In the end, the Liess’s found that this just wasn’t the “right” home for them but are happy to say that they’ve become good friends with the new homeowners, who are absolutely loving it.
