Grosse Pointe Farms
This 1950s home sits in a charming suburban neighborhood along Lake St. Clair, just steps away from the prestigious Country Club of Detroit. Originally built with exceptional materials and meticulous craftsmanship, it had been lovingly maintained by its previous owners. When Ramsay Nye began working on the project, the home offered a perfect blank canvas to bring their client’s vision to life — a vibrant, layered, and personal space that reflected his life experiences and tastes. While many nearby homes feature safe neutrals, our client sought a distinctly unique home, filled with character and individuality — a vision the design team eagerly embraced. Ramsay Nye incorporated meaningful art from the homeowner’s travels, infusing the interiors with a sense of personal history and richness. The result is a home that is truly one-of-a-kind, tailored to its owner in every detail.
