Hamptons Bay Front

The house was built as a summer home for an American family who live in London and spend the summer in Westhampton Beach. The clients come from a large family with lots of siblings and nieces and nephews, so the design and planning of the house was very much about using the space intelligently to allow for lots of visitors. Design highlights include - 20' of sliding glass doors that open up the living room to the bay view, timber clad ceilings, sofas upholstered in vintage linens, textural zellige tiles, plaster walls, vintage mirrors , lighting and rugs, Plain English kitchen, custom millwork throughout... While it is a smaller footprint home, the finishes and fittings are top of the line and come together to create a sophisticated but welcoming beach home.
