An ever-evolving aesthetic and passion for contemporary design and art informed the way James Lee Designs decorated this Lower North Shore home. Picking up on the owner’s love of contemporary art, James worked to introduce an elegant contemporary look using a considered selection of soft and bold colours. The first thing you notice upon entering the home is the vibrant layered custom “flowerbed” artwork by internationally renowned artist Zhuang Hong Yi. Wit and whimsy were essential elements in the redesign of this home for a young growing family whilst a backdrop of neutral finishes and materials served as the perfect canvas for colour and texture.
