This cinematic, sun-soaked house set in the Hollywood Hills is built for living with light — every room opens onto towering views from the city to the sea. Early California modern and mid-century details recall the simplicity and restraint of vintage case study houses. Yet each gesture is expressed on a monumental scale, with the symmetry, presence, and graceful order of classical architecture, in elemental walnut, limestone, blackened steel. Fine collected furniture and art in luxurious, highly tailored combinations ground the light-filled space.
