Our goal for this project was to give our client an upgraded living space where he could relax, but also feel comfortable hosting large groups. And while we were designing for a single guy, the ubiquitous bachelor pad designation didn’t quite fit. He was moving into a new stage of life, and wanted to raise the bar on his lifestyle. We wanted to give him something that was modern, fresh, and welcoming—but not overtly masculine.
