How can I tell if an egg chair is real?

To tell if an Arne Jacobsen egg chair is real, check for the label. Newer models have a Republic of Fritz Hansen label attached to the fabric, older models have them attached to the base of the chair. You can also look for a sticker on the cylinder that attaches to the base with a Fritz Hansen label and a four-digit date.
