William Travilla designed Marilyn Monroe's white dress. The actress wore the now-iconic dress in the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch. A celebrated costume designer, Travilla also created dresses for seven other Monroe films, including How to Marry a Millionaire and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
