About the Item
Giorgia Oldano is a young Italian artist specialized in wildlife and avian drawings.
She is regularly invited to exhibit at Bird in Art, Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum (Winsconsin).
Buceros paper drawing is applied on canvas and stretched on bars.
To translate her personal connection with nature to her paintings, in 2014 Giorgia decided to abandon colour to devote herself to pencil drawings. This technique allowed her to evolve, giving her the opportunity to delve into a more accurate study of animals in their natural habitats.
In 2013 she won the title of International Artist in the Mammal category of the BCC Wildlife Artist Competition (UK).
In 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2018 her paintings were selected to be exposed at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, Wisconsin, USA, for the prestigious yearly exhibition Birds in Art that is recognized around the world as the exhibition that sets the standard for #avian art.
She is represented worldwide by Salamon Fine Art gallery in Milan.

Giorgia Oldano
Giorgia Oldano is an Italian contemporary artist, born in 1984, in Turin, Italy. She specializes in wildlife and avian drawings. To translate her connection with nature to her paintings, in 2014, Giorgia decided to abandon color and devote herself to pencil drawings. This technique allowed her to evolve, allowing her to delve into a more accurate study of animals in their natural habitats. In 2013, she won the title of International Artist in the Mammal category of the “BBC Wildlife Artist Competition (UK)."
