Donald Stacy "Mask" c.1950s Ink on paper Black dark wood frame 10.25"x17.25" Unsigned Came from artist estate Introducing an original piece by the American artist Donald Stacy titled "Mask". Created in the 1950s, this line drawing depicts a nude woman holding a mask next to her face with a coy smile. Measuring 14"x16.5" and created with ink on paper, this piece is unsigned and comes from the artist's estate. Donald Stacy (1925-2008) studied at the Newark School of Fine Art, The Art Students League, Pratt Graphic Arts Center, University of Paris 1953-54, and the University of Aix-en-Provence 1954-55. Stacy's work has been exhibited at prestigious institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, the New School, and the Philadelphia Print Club, among others. This piece is in excellent condition, with only minor wear consistent with age and history such as creases around the edges of the paper.
