About the Item
Eugenio Spreafico (Monza, 1856 - Magreglio, 1919)
Little girl with turkeys
Tecnica mista su carta
Size: 53x35 cm (81x61 cm including frame)
Beginning in 1881, the so-called Monza period, Spreafico approached the Verismo of fellow citizen Moses Bianchi, who paid particular attention to the plots of contemporary Scapigliatura.
In his later period, which spans from the early 1900s to his death, he sought an elaboration of the painting in a post-scapigliata key.
