Caricature by George Wachsteter (1911-2004), for the 1965 season premiere of CBS-TV`s `My Three Sons` with Fred MacMurray as Steve Douglas, Stanley Livingston as Chip, Don Grady as Robbie, Barry Livinston as Ernie (on lap) and William Demarest as Uncle Charley. This artwork was intended not only to promote the sitcom`s move from ABC to CBS that year, but also to herald Demarest joining the cast as a replacement for the character `Bub` Douglas, played by William Frawley, who left the series due to faqiling health.
