il disegno è firmato JR in basso a destra e lo riporta alla mano del poliedrico artista belga Jean Raine. Egli iniziò come amico di André Breton e quindi nella corrente del surrealismo, salvo poi fondare il gruppo di espressionismo astratto CO.BR.A (il nome è l'insieme delle iniziali delle città dei componenti) insieme a Christian Dotremont dal 1948 al 1951. è stato anche fondatore del club Antonine Artaud dedicato alla riabilitazione di persone con problemi mentali.
