She studied at the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, then at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Endowed with an adventurous and curious nature in 1925 she decided to travel to Asia, including China, India, Tibet, Japan and the Indochinese peninsula. She painted landscapes and portraits during her stays. - Signed at the bottom right. - Dating: between 1925-1930, dates when Léa Lafugie went to Asia.
