This artwork titled "Sausalito" 1936 in a watercolor on paper by noted California artist Emily Shotwell Goeller Wood, 1887-1965. It is signed, titled and dated at the lower left corner. The artwork size is 18 x 24 inches, framed is 26.5 x 33 inches. framed in simple wood frame. It is in very good condition. About the artist: She was in New York City in 1919; however, most of her career was spent in northern California where, as a resident of Sausalito, she taught for 30 years at Tamalpais High School. During the 1950s she lived in Nevada City and in 1961 she moved to Sacramento where she remained until her demise on Nov. 30, 1965. She was the widow of F. B. Wood. Her work includes portraits, miniatures, murals, and watercolor landscapes.
