This beautifully detailed double watercolour by Jack Grunwell features two iconic churches in Bristol: St John the Baptist Church in Horfield and the magnificent St Mary Redcliffe Church. On the left, St John the Baptist Church, located in Horfield, is depicted with its distinctive square tower and churchyard, nestled among greenery and gravestones. Known for its Norman origins and later Gothic updates, it remains a local landmark and active place of worship.
