This evocative set of three miniature watercolors by Jack Grunwell depicts historically significant inns and almshouses from the Bristol area. Sailors’ Almshouses, King Street, circa 1700 – Built to house retired or infirm sailors, this Grade II listed almshouse complex is a rare surviving example of 18th-century maritime charity housing.
