Provenance:
Fritjof Hazelius (1882–1963). Hazelius was one of the leading figures in the Swedish local heritage movement. From 1916 he was co-editor, together with Ewert Wrangel, of Tidskrift för Konstvetenskap and from 1920 editor of Tidskrift för hembygdsvård. Among his publications are Skånska gårdar och hus (7 booklets, 1916–26, with Karl Berlin) and Ritningar till skånska prästgårdar (1919).
Thence by descent until 2022.
Hagbynäs was owned by Jonas Carl Linnerhielm and his brother, the royal geographer Gustaf Fredrik Linnerhielm (1757–1819). It is situated west of Kalmar.
