Vallejo artist who visited Morro Bay in the springs of 1934 and 1935.
“…returned to their home this week after several months’ stay at Morro Bay. During their stay here, Mrs. Williams joined the group of local artists and spent much time painting. She also entered one of her paintings in the recent exhibit at the Morro Art Gallery. Mrs. Williams enrolled under the tutoring of Charles H. Robinson, while in Morro. Her work is listed under the name of Marie Williams. Mr. Williams thoroughly enjoyed outings on the bay and spent much of his time fishing. Both were very much enthused with Morro Bay and vicinity and are planning to return before long for an indefinite stay.” per “Artist Visitor Plans Return for Longer Stay,” Sun, March 2, 1934, p. 3.
