Su un lato, in verticale, è raffigurato un nudo femminile seduto in un ambiente domestico, colto nell'atto di voltarsi verso lo spettatore. Certi aspetti dell'espressione e della posa ricordano le odalische di Ingres.
Su un lato, in orizzontale, due figure nude viste da differenti prospettive, probabilmente una donna e un bambino.
è firmato e datato in basso a destra "U. Capocchini 1938".
Ugo Capocchini è stato un artista toscano attivo durante il corso del XX secolo. Specializzato nella figura nuda, ha ricevuto molti premi durante la sua carriera ed ha partecipato a numerose mostre in Italia. Dagli anni '60 unirà alla carriera artistica l'insegnamento di pittura e disegno presso l'Accademia di Firenze.
