Amy Kotler Heifitz is a native of Evanston, Illinois. As a young girl, she travelled the world with her father, a renowned professor and international business consultant. Her world growing up was constantly filled with different cultures, and with new images, colors and designs. After graduating from the University of Illinois-Champaign, she received an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Fifteen years ago, she decided to leave her business career behind and follow her passion to a career in commercial design. She has been involved in interior design projects for numerous downtown Chicago office building lobbies, as well as concert venues and restaurants. Amy began making large pieces of art for the public spaces that she designed. Her images combine her love for both art and innovation.
