This painting features a rare vintage Gianni Versace tie attached to the front. The colors from the tie blend with the bold colors painted on the canvas to become one with each other. "This is a particularly rare tie because it actually says the Versace name on the front," explains artist Gregory Brown. "Gianni didn't do that too much." The Versace label is attached to the back of the canvas. Part of Gregory Brown's signature series of abstract paintings created around vintage, "pre-death" Gianni Versace ties. Gregory starts a painting by selecting a tie from his continually changing collection. He says "it comes down to if I'm in a conservative mood or a bright mood! And what people don't know is that Gianni created an IMMENSE collection with varying color schemes from 1990 to 1997."
About the Artist
Artist Gregory Brown melds Verscace ties with dynamic geometric patterns. Gregory emphasizes the art in fashion by breathing a new life in late Gianni Versace's work. With a collection of vintage Versace ties, Gregory expands the creative vision on canvas by spotlighting each Versace piece. "The glamour in fashion ended with Gianni's death in 1997, I wanted to find a way to keep his collection alive," states Gregory. In his free time, Gregory enjoys traveling across Europe, reading historical stories, and being an avid runner. His dynamic artwork has been displayed in American Airlines Admirals Clubs in both Miami and Chicago, the World Trade Center in Dallas, and shown at exhibits in Jerusalem and Paris.

Artist Tiffany Blaise presents a dreamy seascape with a sweeping view of the starry galaxy. She captures the spirit of the aurora borealis shining over mountain peaks. Inspired by the mystical feel of night skies and stars, Tiffany projects ethereal movement and radiant colors. She creates the piece with soft layers of oil paint, ink, and cold wax to achieve a luminous effect.
About the Artist
Tiffany Blaise draws on the natural grandeur of British Columbia to develop her dreamy, expressionist seascapes. Before venturing into her studio in East Vancouver, she spends time walking the beach, taking photos and simply sitting and observing the light around her. Tiffany explains that even with a photo, her goal is to capture the mood, feeling and gesture of the scene. She begins painting by creating a study of her reference photograph to map out the key visual elements and establish the color palette. Color matching is one of her favorite aspects of painting, and she finds that it is highly influenced by her mood and the season. As a young developing artist, Tiffany devotes time to experimenting with different mediums, researching new techniques and studying the work of other artists. “I'm putting in my 10,000 hours!†she says. “A defining moment for me was realizing my love for painting the wilderness while I was at an artist residency in a national park near Sydney [Australia]. Since then I have not been able to stop sourcing my imagery from hikes and adventures.†Tiffany’s work has been featured in the Montreal Art Matters Festival, The Ferry Building...
