About the Item
Paolo Scirpa was among the first Italian artists in the 1970s to start experimenting with works focused on light and space. He became famous and recognised by creating the Ludoscopi series, works with three-dimensional environments shapes realized using mirrors and neon. He was defined by Pierre Restany as the 'calligrapher of electric light' and he is also present in institutional collections and important museums such as the MART in Rovereto, the Museo del Novecento in Milan and the Gallerie d'Italia.
