About the Item
A large vintage herbarium / botanical display collected and created by S. Lindvald in June 1945 in Sweden. This four-piece collection of botanical specimens is preserved behind glass in a custom-made frame. Each pressed botanical sheet showcases the beauty of Scandinavian flora, with original handwritten labels in Swedish that adds to its authenticity. Every plant and flower head is meticulously and beautifully preserved, and the herbariums are in excellent condition.
The frame, crafted from treated vintage pine wood, is specifically designed to give a mid-century modern feel to this botanical display. The herbarium sheets are mounted on a white wooden panel backing with a glass cover, and the entire piece hangs securely from two fittings on the frame.
This unique piece adds an elegant touch to any home interior.
