Borg-Mania Plea to Girls – Lovesick fans of Swedish tennis idol Björn Borg have been told to keep calm at Wimbledon. “We don’t want to turn Wimbledon into a pop concert,” says Major David Mills, secretary of the organising All England Tennis Club. He has written to more than 60 girls’ schools asking their headmistresses to use their influence to keep the girls under control. At last year’s tournament, hundreds of teenage girls mobbed their 18-year-old heart throb every time he appeared. This year Major Mills is taking no chances with Borg-mania. Extra stewards and police have been called in. “It’s very disturbing for the players and annoying for the other spectators who come to watch the tennis,” he said.

Biography: Björn Rune Borg, (literal meaning: Bear Fortress; born 6 June 1956) is a former World No. 1 Tennis Player from Sweden. Between 1974 and 1981 he won 11 Grand Slam singles titles. He won five consecutive Wimbledon singles titles (a record shared with Roger Federer) and six French Open singles titles (a record shared with Rafael Nadal). He is considered by many to be one of the greatest tennis players of all time.
During his relatively brief pro career, Borg won 41% of the Grand Slam singles tournaments he entered (11 of 27) and 89.81% (141–16) of the Grand Slam singles matches he played. At Wimbledon his match win/loss at 92.73% (51–4) and most notably his winning percentage rate across all the surfaces carpet, clay, hard, and grass was 82.72% (608/127) and are records for an entire career. He is one of four players in the open era to win both Wimbledon and the French Open in the same year and the only player to do so for three consecutive years. He also won three year-end championship titles, including two Masters Grand Prix titles and one WCT Final title. In addition, he won 15 Championship Series titles (1974–1980) the precursors to the current Masters 1000.
Borg was the first “rock star” of professional tennis and first player to earn more than one million dollars in prize money in a single season (1979).

Arthur Steel
Photographer Arthur Steel's archive of iconic images is nothing short of fabulous, and counts David Walliams as a collector. His most famous photograph is arguably of Diana and Charles's kiss on the balcony on their wedding day. He was one of just a handful of photographers who were on the "royal rota" that day.
Regarded as a highly respected editor and Fleet Street photographer, Arthur photographed a vast array of celebrities over the years. In his images one can see how at ease his subjects felt in his company, such as Eric Morecambe within his study, Elton John at home with his songwriting partner Bernie Taupin, George Best surrounded by bubble bath or even the "Iron Lady" Margaret Thatcher in her bedroom applying makeup.
Today, Steel oversees and authenticates the production of his extremely rare photographic limited edition prints from negatives only recently unearthed from his personal treasured archive.
Arthur's collector base continues to grow internationally. Notably, his work is found at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in Mayfair, London, as well as Gordon Ramsay restaurants in Kuala Lumpur and Macao.
