About the Item
Vatican Square Garden, is a photographic print on Agfa Brovira paper, realized by Giuseppe Felici in 1931. On the bach, a black ink stamp "Città del Vaticano/ Nuova Pinacoteca/ 10 OTT 1931",a blue ink stamp "Fotografia Pontificia G. Felici (...)", and the paper logo.
The print is in good condition except for a rip on the lower right margin, visible diagonal fold on the higher left margin. These defects do not affect the image.
The picture was taken to document the work progress for the realization of the Vatican Pinacotheca and the Square Garden by the famous architect Luca Beltramo and inaugurated the year after, in 1932.
