This is a beautiful early 2000’s print made by Herman Leonard in his New Orleans darkroom prior to its destruction by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Herman’s formidable skills as a photographer were matched by Herman’s mastery of the darkroom. In this iconic photo of the Jazz age, these virtuosic skills are displayed in a rich, warm full tonal range print.
