Hunter Barnes is a documentary photographer whose work captures aspects of culture and communities ignored by the mainstream and often misrepresented in the modern American narrative. Hunter trained in photochemistry and traditional photographic techniques. At a young age, he began a nomadic life on the road. In his early twenties, Hunter self published his first book, Redneck Roundup, documenting the dying communities of the Old West. Other projects followed: four years spent with the Nez Perce tribe; months with a serpent handling congregation in the Appalachain mountains; bikers, lowriders, and street gangs...

A graduate of New York’s School of Visual Arts, Tom Baril spent over fifteen years as Robert Mapplethorpe’s master printer. His subjects include urban architecture, seascapes and meticulously detailed botanical and nature photographs. Baril’s work demonstrates a command of technique that results from his extensive experience as a master printer. Baril developed a unique toning process that enriches the color and opulence of his photographs. Tom Baril is inspired by the nature studies of modernist photographers such as Edward Weston, Imogen Cunningham and Karl Blossfeldt. A similar attentiveness to the clarity of line, form, pattern and texture characterizes Baril’s still lifes. Quigley acquired his first camera at age twelve, joined the Photographic Society of Philadelphia in1929, and opened his own studio a year later. He supported himself with innovative advertising and editorial work published regularly in magazines such as U.S. Camera and Photographie, while winning prizes in numerous salons for his experimental light abstractions, captured with the aid of prisms and lenses to startling affect. Today, photographs by Edward Quigley are housed in the permanent collections of The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, The Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
