Extreme Close-Up of Tim. He was the biggest Elephant Bull in Africa. Called the "Preserver of Peace" in Amboseli National Park in Kenya. Unfortunately, he died in February 2020.
In 2012, Joachim Schmeisser was awarded with the prestigious Hasselblad Master award for his series on African Wildlife. He is considered one of the most outstanding and multi-faceted Fine Art Photographers in the world. He is best known for his exceptionally intimate and touching portraits of the most endangered species in Africa.
In his new project he creates Platinum Palladium artworks in a size not yet realized. Using a special technique, several prints are joined together to create a completely new outstanding impressive work of art.
