Cuban photographer, Luis Mallo roams city streets taking pictures of obstructed urban landscapes, as shown in this evocative work. Leaving much to the imagination, the artist reveals a 'hidden space', perhaps a bodega or corner street store that has been abstracted, drawing the viewer in with his use of light and suggestion of rain drops. This suggestive composition allows the viewer to fill in the remaining landscape using their imagination.
