Emergence I
By Jean- Michel Lenoir
Located in New York, NY
A resolutely minimalist and suggestive approach to get to the essential. Not trying to show a subject for what it is, but for what it expresses. This is my way of telling stories, of translating my sensibility”. J-M. Lenoir A passion for nature from an early age led Lenoir to photography as a means to capture magical moments of nature and wildlife. Starting with wildlife and wide spaces, he developed his own vision of photography. Landscape photography is an eternal quest for atmosphere where the light and the quest of beauty are key references, his aesthetic landmark. His photographic intention relies on his magnetic attraction for wide spaces combined with his quest of beautiful lights. A way that inspires him and his instinct of freedom. In photography, he is looking for simple pictures, which go straight to the subject core, with very few things in the frame. Lenoir follows a suggestive approach: he does not try to show a subject as it is, but to share what it expresses. It is his way of telling stories and conveying his sensibility, like his work “Evanescence”. Combining his passion for pictures with rugged landscapes, he organizes and guides photo tours with Photographes du Monde agency for seven years. From north of Europe (Scotland, Norway, Finland) to South America (Chile and Bolivia),his photographic world leads him into areas of wilderness from where he draws his main source of inspiration. Lenoir is an ambassador for Fujifilm cameras...

Each print is stamped on the back and signed and numbered by Gerald Berghammer, and accompanied by a letter of authenticity. Printed with 4cm white border. International award winner photographer Gerald Berghammer, born 1975 in Austria. Traveling around the world and capturing the impressions on analog black and white film was always a passion of the internationally successful master photographer Gerald Berghammer. The idea was to go back to analog photography to create images that decelerate, contrary to our fast-paced digital world. During Gerald Berghammer’s master course, analog photography was the subject of his final thesis in 2011. The quality of the images was convincing and laid the foundations for SILVERFINEART. In the years that followed, the matter was intensively studied to create photographic art at the highest level. Besides the craft of photography itself, all negatives were developed by hand in the darkroom. Afterwards the negatives were selected and only those shots which met the high-quality standards of the photographer were included in the portfolio. Due to COVID and its influence on supply chains and logistic and the resulting lack of analog films and developers, Berghammer adapted to the new circumstances and invested in modern medium format...

Wood- Signed limited edition nature print, Black white, Landscape, Contemporary

He produced images over a 35 year career, and in recent years used archival techniques to produce his prints. For most of his career he worked as both a Commercial and Fine Art photographer, and during his last years concentrated on his personal imagery. Towards the end of his life journey, Ian was reviving with his partner two 19th century printing techniques in their studio, Platinum Palladium and Gum Bichromate ( one-of-a-kind pieces). This culminated in a large retrospective exhibition in Barcelona which was sponsored by the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation. The Platinum and Palladium prints are particularly interesting as they printed them onto vellum paper therefore transparent and bonded pure gold or silver to the back of the prints ( every print is therefore a unique and timeless piece of art). They have created rare and personalized pieces with an artisanal technique. Ian Sanderson was one of only a handful of artists worldwide producing this type of work. Nowadays, Ian’s partner continues their work, she’s still creating Platinum Palladium prints but also silver gelatin photographs.
