Tcherassi's work combines organic elements, geometry and a bold use of color. As a believer in energy, spirituality and human consciousness, Tcherassi uses art as a way of life and a way to connect with the universe. Her process explores how variations of color in a single piece explore the generation of diverse perceptions and emotions. Inspired by artists such as Mondrian, Matisse, Rothko and especially Josef Albers, she experiments with abstract forms to provoke thoughts and emotions, using color to challenge and deepen our sense of perception.

Angelica Tcherassi
Dreaming with her eyes wide open, Angelica Tcherassi strives to express with her artwork what inspires her in her daily life: family, happiness, desires, dreams and light. Her computer-generated prints and paintings give voice to a unique eclectic approach in which all merges to become perfection. The overlapping analysis of craftsmanship and technology play an important role in her paintings. For Tcherassi, it is vital to shine a light into the world through her artwork.
Tcherassi’s creations have been featured in renowned design magazines and blogs worldwide, such as Interior Design (USA), Azure (Canada), Interni (Italy), Architectural Digest Italia, Elle Decoration Thailand, Creative Malaysia, Surface Asia, Habitar (Colombia), Elle Decor Spain, Glam Deko Malaysia, Spaghetti (Italy), Surface (USA) and more. Her work has appeared in Artpower International Publishing’s books Flourishing Furniture, Food Player and Furniture Design Now, as well as at websites like Büro24/7 ME, Büro24/7 HR, Design Milk, Dwell and many others.
Tcherassi was born in Colombia. In 2003, Barcelona became her new home, where she completed her studies in architecture and design. After working with international design studios for years, in 2018, to create her own practice with her own name, Angelica Tcherassi, was a must for her.
