'Herefordshire House' by Christopher Simon Sykes
An open window gives a view along a country lane in Herefordshire, from the home of filmmaker John Bulmer and sculptor Angela Connors, circa 1995 during a summer afternoon.
This beautiful body of work by Sykes, includes intimate photographs of some of Britain’s best-known Country Houses and their interiors.

deeply steeped in tradition, class and history.

Born in 1948, Christopher Simon Sykes left Eton
to attend Ravensbourne College of Art.
Since graduating has worked as a writer and photographer on a number of magazines including House and Garden, World of Interiors and Vogue.
His work includes intimate photographs of Britain’s country houses and their inhabitants and unique coverage of the Rolling Stones’ 1975 American tour.
