Beautiful and ethereal women floating underwater are reappearing subjects in the works of Howard Schatz. This image is part of the series "Underwater Study". The nude nodel is floating in a black pool, her side is turned to the camera. Her head is partially above water. Pink and blue ribbons are wrapped around her upper body and arms and are floating behind her in the water. Her body and the colorful ribbons are reflected on the underside of the water surface, creating an abstract pattern.
